An App to Address the Social Needs of NYU International Students

After conducting research of our target user group, first-year NYU international students, our team ideated, prototyped, and user tested until we finalized a design for our app, DiveIn.

DiveIn aims to provide a solution to fill the gap international students experience between their social lives in their hometowns and their social lives in New York City.

User Needs Research for NYU International Students

Our team began by asking if there was a way we could make the adjustment to living in New York City easier for NYU international students.

After conducting user research, we found that students did not have a reliable or comprehensive place to go to help bridge the gap between their social life in their hometown and their social life in New York City.
